What Political Youtube Video Are You Watching Right Now?
So this thread is designed to work similarly to the "What Youtube Video Are You Watching Right Now?" in the Entertainment section of the forum, except for that, in this thread, the video contents are to be politically themed.
Why create another thread?
Because I like to share what political videos I am watching often, I wanted to create another thread so that people have more of a heads up. Not everyone will want to see politically themed videos and I want to respect that. Here they can be posted safely, and anyone viewing this thread understands that - they have been warned.
That does not mean you can't post political videos in the other video thread, but it is better to keep it in this section of the forum as this is the political section.
Also note - sensitive topics will be present! If this bothers you, don't view them.
If you would like to have a discussion about politics, or any of the videos, this is not the place to have it. Create a separate thread based around the topic you wish to discuss. Keep all discussions in the other thread. This thread is just for videos.
Although discussion in this thread is discouraged, you may write a short blurb of text to go with your video. Try to keep it short, put it in a spoiler, and once again, replies and comments should go in separate threads.
Like the other thread, try to keep posts to 1-2 videos a post, and 1 post per 24 hour period. Thanks!
A very common misconception, often used by pro-abortion advocates. But, when you look at the science, once again, it doesn't hold up.
Spoiler for Text:
The vast majority of serious health issues occur in later pregnancy. If you're already in late 2nd-3rd trimester, you must deliver the baby. You can't have that baby sucked out of you like in a 1st trimester abortion. So, either the baby is born alive, or born dead. It makes no difference to the mother's health. Should a woman's health deteriorate, the OB will simply immediately deliver early. Not abort. As most babies are viable at this point in pregnancy, letting them be born alive gives them a fighting chance. And, furthermore, abortion is more dangerous than a c-section because it takes 2-3 days to dilate the cervix for an abortion.
You may argue that a woman who knows she has health issues should abort before the 2nd or 3rd trimester. I argue that most of the time the issues arise way past viability. There's no need for an abortion, but there IS a need for increased care and monitoring by the OB. And, in the very rare case of a true medical emergency before current viability [21 weeks], of course, I would stand by saving the mother's life. But again, that's not through abortion, that's through early delivery.
In 7 states, 7!, and the District of Colombia, a woman can have a late-term abortion; up to 10 months pregnant, until the very moment of birth, for any reason. These abortions should be banned.
