What would you want to accomplish travelling and how long do you think you could do it before running into comfort problems?

Maybe this is just me but I get comfort problems right away and then once I'm in a place long enough it subsides. Personally I would want to be somewhere on the Pacific rim, preferably somewhere sunny.
