So, here's an interesting scenario. I am a firm believer in Western independence of Canada. It would be VERY economically feasible for both parties. It's actually been proposed before, anyway, suppose that this happens and restarts the Quebec independence movement, or vice versa.

Now, as you can see, Western Canada has been indicated in pink, and original Canada in red. Quebec is in blue, and has now made New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and Prince Edward Island, enclaves. This would not be a very good thing for those provinces, nor would it be feasible for Canada. Now, they could just form their own country, but I don't really think that would be economically feasible for them until further down the road when tidal power becomes a factor, perhaps then New Brunswick could become independent, taking the rest with them. What are your thoughts on this?
