I loved Inception (Leo is a known lucid dreamer) and loved how it was humouristically portrayed in an episode of Rick 'n' Morty . Good stuff.
Falling on your back can potentially prolong the lucid dream state as it heightens vestibular sensations and proprioception, and falling through the ground is commonly reported. (Came across this in LaBergeian literature.)
I suggest it, because it pretty much flew itself and was super fast and advanced! Another option might be Doctor Who's tardis, a little less aesthetically pleasing but has added benefit of time travel and being bigger on the inside. You could possibly use his psionic screwdriver and ID badge to make the aliens do whatever you want, just hope the darleks don't come an exterminate you! ....potential schema there for ya to contend with later, sorry.
I re-watched inception a couple weeks ago as I only ever watched it one time, too busy watching re-runs of the matrix I guess haha joking (or am I?). It was amazing how many details I forgot about, was quite a lot to process first time round, like they used inception in the movie itself when making it so they could fit more in, if you watch past the credits the totem tips over and stops. You're going to have to watch it now to see if that's true or not hehehehe actually what happens the kid comes out to him and says "There is no totem" and then you see it's not the totem that stops, but your mind bending.
I might re-watch the movie waking life, love that one.
