Wow thanks for the help dutchraptor and Keitorin! I usually wake up a few times (atleast twice) because i tend to drink before i go to bed. Hopefully i can work on timing it for that 6 hour mark or so for best results though.

So basically note down even if i dont have a dream each morning when i awake, saying i will have one tommorow, and when i wake up i say to myself "What was i dreaming?"
Also have the intent of having remembering a dream each night.

Il keep trying these techniques though so thanks for the help, i know its probablly not the easiest thing to start doing right away so like i said id rather be able to recall a dream each night before going too far into techniques so i know ill be ready once i begin really focusing on that.
