I am having a problem pretty consistently with regards to dream recall the day after I have a Lucid Dream. Usually on a day where I have one or more LDs I have amazing recall, loads of details, epic events, etc. Now the next night however, the dreams are murky and i'm lucky if i remember a couple of sentences no matter how long i lay still and question. Let it be known that i try to journal every day and wake up multiple times during the night to write down my dreams. I track Dream Signs. I practice King Yoshi's All Day Awareness (awesome). and in the last few days i've take up Meditation and I've started to work on WILDing out.
I picked up on this pattern a couple of weeks ago and I guess i likened it to the Second Night Letdown of the theater where after a strong opening night performance, energy sags and performers make stupid mistakes because their head isn't in the game as strong as the night previously. So to counter this, the day after a lucid dream I have been RCing more often, taking the time to ADA my surroundings as much as possible and even going so far as to meditate for 30-45 min a day. I'm doing stretches before going to bed and bolstering my intention.
And still, this keeps happening. I had the best LD ever 2 nights ago, where i held onto the dream for several minutes, went flying, had conversations, did backflips. The next night dreams were weak and vague and i could barely remember anything.
Is it a chemical thing? Are there supplements i can take or special foods to eat? Is it just a state of mind thing where my expectation is creating my reality? or is it something else?
I would love any advice to help me deal with this because i feel like when this happens it fucks with my momentum, but then maybe that's just a part of the process.
TL : DR
