Thread: Reoccurring situation different dream

Had a dream I was deployed on a mission to retrieve a hostage who was a great value. I was a special operations Soldier in the Air Force. During the mission there were multiple gun fights that occurred inside an abandoned airport. my team and I were led to a point in the airport we're two escalators were going up but the hostage was to the left of the escalators sitting on the floor. When I went to go retrieve the hostage I saw a man under the escalators aiming his gun at me. this man was the one we were hunting and trying to kill for he had taken the hostage and was shooting at us previously. I fired my weapon at him and then I saw a Flash and heard gunfire that came from him under the escalators I then immediately felt two bullets hit my stomach and I could no longer see but I could still hear in my dream. Everything was black and I could hear my squadmates shooting and being hit by bullets and then all of the sudden it was quiet and I felt my squad come over to me and assist me medically as I was grabbing at my stomach trying to hold it in and stop the bleeding. I woke up in my house with my family and begin to tell the story of what had just happened and then went on to say that I had 48 confirmed kills in the Special Forces to my aunt and showed her the scars of where the bullets had hit me and told her I was shot twice. She had told me that there were seven bullet scars and he told me to be careful next time and try not to die and she was extremely scared from what I could tell and so was the rest of my family. Then was moved in my dream to another location sort of like a military training ground and was loading a magazine of ammunition into my weapon and Was preparing to leave for another mission at this time I had told my buddy that was in my squad I had 116 confirmed kills. I had noticed that I went from 48 to 116 confirmed kills showing that I have been in the Special Forces for a longer amount of time since the moment I had 48 kills. And then I woke up I still feel what I felt in the dream after being shot in the stomach it's more of an upsetting feeling and I want to puke it has been more than 20 hours since I have woken up from this dream. I really need help I don't understand what any of this means this isn't the first dream where I have been shot I am Seventeen now and had a dream when I was 14 that I was shot while also being in the military on a side note I have finished my enlistment process couple weeks ago I'm joining the Air Force. In that dream I was on a mission to go and investigate an abandoned Factory upon arrival and entry of the factory we were greeted by enemies who held us at gunpoint and had surrounded us we had been stripped of all weapons and armor and we're bound at our hands behind our backs and put on our knees in front of a man about 20 feet away with a heavy machine gun. The man who had founded us had said that we had seen too much which made me question what he was talking about but then he ordered the man with the machine gun to open fire and at that moment time slowed down and I saw the bullets whiz by me and hit my teammates I watched a bullet go through my captains head and blew out the back of his skull and I felt all seven bullets hit my body and still feel where they hit where they left today it was a slight burn I no longer feel the burn but I feel the holes in the wounds they left.

Hi, just wondering how intereseted you are in lucid dreaming is it something you are working at ?
If you are trying to lucid dream you could remember that guns won't hurt you, (matrix style) actually a process step towards lucidity is realizing you won't be burned or hurt, so perhaps your wake consciousness and sleep consciousness are ' at war ' so too speak.

You want to wipe the past away and literally become a new person.

That actually helped a lot thanks and yes I am Imore able to realize that I am dreaming most of the time but I feel it passes by to quick or I dream late into my sleep and when I realize it's a dream I rarely ever am able to gain control but I am able to remember almost everything

sounds like your nearly there your concious is fighting for you too remember :-) i guess you should try to remember whilst dreaming that this situation is impossible, and you must be dreaming and try some bullet dodges or something .
