I belive it depends on two factors
      - Waking Awareness
      - How Lucid You Are?

It might be possible to retain lucidity by stable habit of questioning reality after waking up (Reality Checks, Awareness, Dream Signs etc).
That would be 'Waking Awareness' way, you've trained yourself to overcome 'False Awakenings' by doubting whether you truly woke up and due to those doubts questioning the reality.

And there's a second way which would basing on 'How Lucid You Are?' if you were having low lucid dream then after a 'False Awakening' you might just take it as granted that you woke up and therefore belive that you are no longer in a dream and that it is a waking world (But it is still possible to figure out that you had a false awakening even with low lucidity) yet if you were slightly lucid not just a tiny bit you might act the different way.
      Example:
      - Your relaxing on hot beach in your lucid dream at which you just arrived
      - Your happy that you can spend your time on beach and yet you had one thought 'Oh man, i hope i won't experienec false awakening' (This triggered passive dream control)
      - You woke up in bed
      - Your like: Woah i woke up, i had a nice lucid dream didn't i?
      - Wait... Before waking up i feared that i might have false awakening and it happend
      - I might be still in lucid dream
      - Oh... I need to keep myself calm at the moment aswell or i'il destabilize the dream if i'm truly in it.
      - I'il just take a look at my hands and see if they are normal, hopefully they are not and i'm still in my amazing dream world.
      - Huh? They are quite blurry and are dark pink, i guess that proves that i'm still in dream, Hell Yeah!
      - *You become once more lucid and decide to teleport yourself back to beach to relax once more while waiting for arrival of the pirate ships
