Congrats on the first lucid dream! 
Ten minutes is actually pretty good for a first, and it will definitely improve with practice. Keep doing dream journal, reality checks, awareness practice and so on. 
You can give stabilization techniques a try: http://www.dreamviews.com/articles/9...-tutorial.html , and/or you can occasionally reminder yourself that you are dreaming when lucid, by thinking "I am dreaming" or doing reality check for example, it decreases chance of losing lucidity.
