Can't escape my room while lucid

      Hi,

Lately, I tend to get a lot of lucid dreams starting in my bedroom.

Tonight I had about 6 dreams.

One of them was lucid, and I dreamed that I was in my bed, but I knew it was a dream. I slowly stood out of bed and expected to look back at the bed and see my body sleeping - it was empty though. Now I stood in my room, and thought back at earlier lucid dreams where I started in my room.
If I go out of my room and down the stairs, I usually wake up. That's the only way out though. Spinning/expecting stuff to happen doesn't work. It's simply wasted lucid dreams, with gray boring overcast weather if you look out the window, and nothing happening.

Later same night, I dreamed that I was on DreamViews (nonlucid), asking how I should escape my room. A reply came up: "Break down the wall with force".

Later same night, I dreamed that I was in my bed again (lucid). I stood out again, this time I took a few steps back, and rushed forward with all my force. I stopped right before the wall, like in a fantasy movie, so all my tailwind blew against the wall, and it was supposed to crash away from me. Nothing happened and the dream ended.

Later again same night, (nonlucid) I dreamed that I was building a piston mechanic with redstone (from Minecraft) to push the wall aside, but I never got to finish it.

I get a lot of lucid dreams starting in my bedroom, and I can't get out. Help?

Remember, everything that happens in your dream is in your head. Your head is telling you via the computer to break the wall with force. maybe try some other methods to break the wall. Another way is to be extremely focused and conscious when walking down the stairs. Try not to wake up.

This, or open it and crawl out, that's what I usually do. Also, I wouldn't try stopping at the wall and having wind break it down, actually bash into it, if it dosen't break you might go through it anyway.

This sometimes happens to me when I WILD. And when I would get outside, it would be night and/or raining. I would say take it slow. Every few steps drop to the floor and feel the carpet with your hands or look closely at some other objects. Hopefully this will stabilize the dream enough for you to leave. However, more importantly, I think it will distract you from your expectations of failure. In previous dreams, your goal is to break this "barrier" that is your house. Your goal here is to see how real everything is, and as you do this, slowly work your way outside.

dont you have window in your room to break thru? I used to summon a steel bat to crash it... haha

but from my experience, and like cytotoxicT said, you should take it slow. dont hurry. there is no reason to do things so fast in lucid dream.
like you waking up and going to bathroom slowly in morning, pace slow to the porch/ veranda/ entrance door like 'reality'.
I always calm myself first when I have LD and then just open the room door and flew out of the veranda.
the more you do slowly, the more the LD lengthens. hope this helps

If you just ran at the wall without expecting an outcome, then the dream had nothing to go on in terms of results. Really imagine the feeling of the wall breaking and you going through it. Everything comes down to expectations and what you have at the forefront of your mind when you're using dream control! Slow down, think about what you want to do and once you have the idea in your head, that's when you go about getting out of your room. You could always just walk through the door and expect to be in an outside location. If the door to your room is usually connected to the hallway, instead imagine it being connected to the driveway, or front steps of your house.

Walking out of your room and down the stairs shouldn't wake you up unless you're not paying attention to your surroundings, or thinking of waking life/lying in bed, so I'm not sure why that would happen.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I had the same problem. 5 lucids where I couldn't get out. You can check in my dream journal (the first entry) how I finally solved it. It's simple, if you can't make yourself to believe you can crash the wall, just act like you do in real life

I usually can more easily get through walls if I walk backwards through them. Or start first pushing my hands through. Or allow myself to fall forward through the wall. You can also try to just float upwards and out - ceilings can be easy to float through, just do not look up at the ceiling, so you can't see that there is actually a ceiling, maybe your dream room does not have any ceiling
Windows are tricky for me, as I tend to get stuck in them for some reason... I often use also mirrors. When I am looking for a mirror, usually there will be one - either on a cabin or just hanging on the wall. I can walk into a mirror when I first push my hands through. That leads me to a dark gloomy transit area - just keep on walking and it goes to some place. Sometimes I might just fall into a vast depths, but then I just think of landing somewhere and go from there.
You can also look around in the room, maybe there is a mouse, cat, rabbit or other small creature that you can follow. Those little buggers know all kind of paths out of a room.

try opening the window and jumping out (what I always do) or keep practicing getting out the door until you can do it without waking up

Close the door to your room and when you open it imagine your destination, open it and beleive it will be there.

Sit down, legs crossed, hands on your knees (much like Bhudda) and tell yourself that nothing in the dream is real, and that anything is possible - when you feel an empowering sense of omnipotence, simply walk out the door.

.. or you know, blow the room into oblivion with light and fire and fly through the cosmos, through a portal to another dimension where you end up on the other side of your bedroom wall.

yeah my wilds tend to start in my room aswell. I always just slowly crawl through my window. feelsd wierd when you first put your face to the glass but then I can hardly feel it. I never had any real problems getting out. one problem I noticed was that I for some reason couldn't fly in my room. not even float. when I first did a wild, I started in my room and after realizing I was dreaming, I tried floating but I couldn't do it so I had to crwl out my window and jump down before I was able to fly.

I usually just jump through the window. You don't even need to 'open' it. It's all a matter of 'belief'....
