When you dream spin, do you do it with your eyes open or closed? |
does not matter. |
Eyes open! I've found closing my eyes in lucid dreams just causes me to lose lucidity. |
Anyone else have experience with this? I've always assumed that it was eyes closed, but I noticed that most tutorials just say to spin, without specifying with eyes open or closed. |
Really the whole point of the dream spin is to |
Yeah, it is better to do it with eyes open but not impossible with eyes closed... |

If you close your eyes while spinning, there's a chance you might wake up, so I advise against it. If you are spinning to change locations or stabilize the dream (for clarity), I suggest keeping them open. Like reere mentioned, visualize the scene or location you want to enter while dream spinning. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

DO NOT SPIN!!! Spinning is the worst thing you can do in a dream. What you gain from spinning is an intense sense of movement that anchors you in the dream. Unfortunately, spinning is disorienting, which makes it difficult to focus on your surroundings. Everything requires your attention to exist in dreams, so if you are disoriented, you can't focus properly on your surroundings, they fall apart and you wake up. |

Slowly is best, just fast enough to gradually get the whole 360 around you. Spinning too fast is known to destabilize the dream and disorient you. |
