Three times in the past couple of months I have written down my dreams only to, later in the day, learn that something very similar has happened out in the world. On the 1st, in dreams, I confided in someone that I might be getting near prophetic dreams. She thought it was great. I told her is wasn't, all of the dreams so far revolved around disasters. Personally, I think mine are just stress dreams that just so happened to coincide with waking world events but there is a worry in me that such dreams will happen again. I don't want them either.

I wish I could tell you how to make it stop. Let us hope they will stop on their own or at the very least lessen over time.
And Aprilla may be right. The dreams may have a message for you such as connection. Have you tried to sift out other meanings from the dreams beside the obvious subject matter? Something I need to do on my end as well.

I know the world right now is suffering from some major issues, US and worldwide, and I can understand how wars, poverty and the like can make us vigilant and more prone to stress, and its really sad and horrible. Nevertheless you make a great point about this.

You made me remember having a prophetic dream a few months ago because I was stressed at not having a job. I attended an interview, and thought I did well, but when I got back home and that night dreamt I received an email for the interviewer saying he was sorry to inform me I didn't get the job. it was so realistic reading the message, and I woke up feeling uneasy and then checked my email to which the message was true. Same wording and everything. (and this has happened before with jobs and homes when I am stressed I find I "squeeze out" prophetic dreams regarding my next home. its even become a joke to my family lol

So yes, stress and struggle does indeed play a part in prophecy. which has somehow made me realise I need to calm down and believe haha
