Lightbulb Dreaming from a non-human perspective?

I was just wondering if anyone has experienced dreaming from a non-human, or animal perspective?

I dreamed that I was some type of lizard, or iguana. I could actually see with reptile vision, and my reaction times and alertness were thousands of times better than a human. I could jump over ten times my own height and land on very specific little branches. There was no other animals, or humans, or any other entities around. I was running around just being a lizard for a few minutes, then I became sort of lucid, and realized I was a lizard. I immediately woke up. I've only had 2 or 3 minor lucid dreams, and this was weird for me.

Once I was some kind of sea animal swimming in a tidepool. Another time I was a small four legged animal crossing a field, but not like any animal I've ever seen. I was a cow for about a second. Far more often I dream of being other people.

I had few and in each of those dreams my senses were different from what they are in waking life. Once my vision was so different that I could barely see anything, everything was created in corridors, one step right or left and I see a completely different place. In another dream where I thought I was on another planet I had such an HD vision that it seemed like I had a new video card in my brain, like an super HD version of waking life, more and deeper colors and sounds. And some more fun dreams where I had non human body.

I've had a dream when I was a buffalo, I can't remember much of the feeling, but I remember being low to the ground and eating grass. I also had one when I was a chimpanzee, but that's not really much different from being human.

That's an excellent question, I think, and a very appropriate link.

I have had a few experiences that I think all occurred as REM was fading that involved moving in a way that is hard to imagine, but I guess not impossible to imagine moving that way. In the weirdest one I was flapping a front set of wings and a back set of wings one set flapping just before the other. I woke up so confused about where in the heck my brain came up with this that I looked up if any prehistoric creatures might have had 2 sets of wings and found this: Prehistoric Birds May Have Used Four Wings to Fly | Science | Smithsonian
I tried to think if I ever read about or seen anything about this before this dream and couldn't recall anything. I also considered if my brain somehow created the experience from the idea of sometimes having 2 sets of wings from the Tasks of the Month.

This isn't the nonhuman perspective that you had in mind, but last night I dreamed I was inside a spherical fractal. Often people call things fractals that are fractal-like on some scale, but aren't true fractals with non-integer hausdorff dimension. This was more of a true fractal, with no smooth dimension in which I could move freely. It was a bit of a weird experience. I don't know what triggered it. I'm posting largely out of curiosity whether any other people had a similar experience the same night, since that would tend to happen if it were an interpretation of something outside of my personal experience. There was another scene afterwards involving a resonating spherical shell that was being used to send a directed signal over a long distance, somewhat analogous to a laser.

I consider my consciousness to be an electromagnetic sphere. I concluded this. The earth is a sphere in a sphere in a sphere. Actually a torus may be more accurate. UFOs and stars are unified spherical fields outside of the earth's sphere. This I happened to post on facebook just now.

I did dream recently of a "soccer game" and being in the dresser room and found out the next day that my home-team was playing an important match that was all over TV.

Here's my post from another forum, hopefully you find it interesting. Nobody responded to it or liked my post on facebook LOL. These magnotespheres could be the same spheres as the ones in ur dream.

I think that the Earth's Magnetosphere acts as a virtual reality sphere and all of reality forms a perspective within this field. The human body is a field within this field. A single cell is field inside the human field. I believe some of us are chosen to play intermediates between something reaching us from the outside of the Earth's Assemblage point. Ultimately these are fields of spheres like our galaxy. etc. When something outside our field seeks to make contact with something in our sphere we see it as lights in the sky. Stars are an example. When they move around, it shows the inherent life and reactability in that lifeform.
