      Dreamwalking

      So before I post this, I would ask that anyone who would post just for the sake of skepticism, would refrain from doing so. I would also like to mention that I am neutral as to whether or not this technique works and would like to know for certain if it does.

      The technique I would like to start a discussion upon is that of dreamwalking.

      Dreamwalking entails one entering one other's dream via an ever present subconscious connection between all humans. I am simply curious as to whether or not this technique works, as many native cultures claimed that it did. Let's have some discussion!

      *I apologize if I posted this in the wrong section, as I am new to these forums. If someone could kindly inform me if I have neglected rules, it would be appreciated

      I hate to be a skeptic, but dream-sharing is not real. Just stick to having fun in your lucid dreams by flying and riding motorcycles (or whatever it is you like do).

      Zellster, you may be absolutely right. The thing is that I like to have all of the facts before I come to a conclusion, so if you can provide me with any evidence, (personal experiences, I like) that would be much appreciated! And that is quite the interesting thread Mr. Irony, I shall continue to follow that one. Possibly partake in it as well.

      It is a very interesting thread. If I were better at LDing I'd definately give it a shot.

      Next time you're in your dream, lucid, make sure that you find a person and tell them to remind you that you're dreaming every time you start dreaming. Worked wonders for me, and I'm sure it will for you too!

      didnt succeed yet, but I always summon a door that connects to other person's dream and when I enter it all becomes blurry and gray+black. I hear bleeping sound just like from SP. but there's a distinct feeling that 'I am entering his or her dream'; its totally different from just a dream, or lucid dream.. thing I have to do now is practicing more dream controlling. cant do dreamwalking yet

      Interesting stuff! Just curious about a couple of things: First, are you lucid or self-aware in any way when you have this experience? I think you said "No," but I wanted to check and be sure. Also, how many times has this happened?

      yes, I do dreamwalking after getting lucid. what I meant was that it really feels like I'm entering into other person's dream. (its hard to explain that feeling!!) I started dreamwalking few months ago. then I found this book called Psychic Dreamwalking by Michelle Belanger; you should look up if you're interested, and this book helpled me a lot. I dont know how many times I tried this.. maybe over 10? but I kept failing.

      one time I unconsciously did dreamwalking in non-lucid dream state. idk who the target was but had the same feeling

      great LDers like Nomad and Raven dreamwalk all the time, I dont know how do they do that so easily! well my suggestion for dreamwalking is, (generally) first you have to become lucid all the time, so you can enter other person's dream at anytime. O_o;

      to tell my first dreamwalking experience; soon as I got lucid, I used spin technique (spinned really fast) and conceived my friend's face in front of my eyes. very weird, her image was very clear. then I started to call out her name. then underneath my friend's face, her name appeared in letters. I had the feeling that I'm entering her dream. then the whole thing faded out in white. I couldnt feel my body. it wasnt SP, I literally felt that I had no body. then I saw these sparkling little stars and I heard long bleeping sound... white fade out again. I couldnt see nothing. all I saw was this blank white scene. after fwe seconds I woke up with my heart beating fast. although I didnt succeed, I was pretty scared that subconscious connection b/w humans do exist, I felt that.

      I do the exact same thing, and have several times now. No good, solid results yet, but I will keep trying. It's strange because you would expect that, even were you to fail to dreamwalk, your mind would create what you would think was success of the other side of that doorway. But as you said, it's a grey place with SP-type feelings. Quite a bizarre phenomenon really. Good luck on your endeavors, and shoot me a pm if you find success please!

      Trace Fleeman, in your signature, you have "shared dreaming" checked off. Would you mind sharing by which method you accomplished this?
