Never read this problem on here before.

Ive been quite lazy and havnt posted this in so long.. but Ive been wanting to every since I starting WILDing and failing.

Ive read just about every tutorial, and technique; wilding, breathing, relaxing, imagining, HI, SP, etc etc. Nothing seems to help.

When I WILD, I start to feel numb rather fast in my extremities, not in my medial regions as much though. Eventually I feel pretty much numb all over. This could take 5-20 Mins. Then I start to get the heavy feeling, and start to enter sleep paralysis. Ill see traces of HI, twirls and swirls of light and colors. Nothing really big. Sometimes ill hear a very loud humming noise, but not always.

      The problem is here:

When Im conscious during this phase, and trying to slip into full SP and full HI, so i can jump into a dream, I know its coming.
I get excited BEFORE im in the dream. People complain that they get excited once lucid, and wake up.

When im at the doorstep of full SP, I can feel my body being pulled down lower and lower, my brain is just fully excited, and i can literally FEEL my adrenaline being excreted. It happened a couple times where i actually CAUGHT the exact difference in heart rate when the adrenaline was released. It was pretty cool, but i couldnt keep 100% still. I physically was still, but my body was ACHING to move. It felt like i was twitching, but i really wasnt. It was just my nerves aching to be moved.

Last time, my eyes eventually opened by themselves. I did a reality check, and another one, and i was truly awake.

This is pissing me off, because I cant get to that 'trace' phase, where your thoughts are clear and slow. My thoughts are constantly bombarding me, and I have to focus to clear my head, which makes me think about moving, and gets me excited that im NOT moving.

I layed like this for about 1.5 hours. I eventually get really bored, as i have ADD and can barely focus on something for a little bit, im surprised i dont give up after 10 mins.

Wow, having ADD and trying to WILD is probably very difficult... Get your mind on lucid dreaming but don't try too hard... You have to find the right balance and that's also difficult... (Especially with ADD)

WILDing is so frustrating... I've attempted to WILD 10 times... The alarm clock didn't wake me up 6 times, I gave up after three tries and the other time I stubbed my toe when I was walking to the bathroom... It's too difficult to concentrate with a bloody toe...

Realize that if you get too excited, that it wont work...

Try taking a few more deep breaths before you attempt the WILD...

I know what you mean! The doctor says I don't have ADHD, but my friends and I do. =/
What if I told you that I am dreaming right now?
That your whole life is a lie?
That the laws of physics as you know them are incorrect?

Furthermore, what would you do if I told you I'm going to wake up as soon as you finish reading my signature?

This really isnt the focus of the failing my wild.

I think the getting excited BEFORE SP is the problem

i hear there is good work for self taught doctors in the sale of organs on the black market. i know a guy on the south side who would throw up 10 g's for a kidney. im sorry i couldn't resist. look what GTA does to people.

i have the same problem. i can feel my heart rate increase as i get numb. this usually makes me too awake. my only advice is after giving up, try to think about lucid dreaming and maybe you can get a DILD.
Forget it! Nobody is going to get him! Long gone. DEVIN HESTER YOU ARE RIDICULOUS!

I lay back in bed i go back into the same SP. And stay awake for hours.

Its like i forget how to sleep NORMALLY. I have to sit still and wild.

My first time trying to WILD the same thing you describe happened. To me. Te 2nd - my last time (last night), nothing happened and i eventually fell asleep. So I don't have issues falling asleep after failing a WILD.

but the 1st time, when I did get close to the dream, it was exactly the same, I could feel the exact change in heart rate, the SP, my breathing was going crazy and I Was trying so hard to slow it. Normally I'm fairly calm in any situation, so staying calm seemed like it'd be easy, but my body would NOT calm down and my eyes eventually opened up on their own after a lot of fighting.

I'd really like some tips on this so when it happens again I can be ready
