I'm starting this practice back up again, making these RC prompts my desktop background at work. I'm thinking that building memory, whether prospective or regular, has a positive effect on state awareness and level of lucidity. I feel this is the case regardless of whether or not the practice is combined with the MILD technique. It's just like building muscles, except you're strengthening your brain. This mental strength can be generalized, not just helpful for specific RC tasks. My thinking is that it can build a more awake brain that has increased cognition during lucid dreams, and better recall. This cognition and recall is what makes the difference between a low level lucid and a high level lucid. It's just a theory. Anyways, I'm motivated again, so I made a second week to add more variety to the game. Here it is... just in case anyone is ever interested in this sort of thing. |
