      Question Obtaining a Dream Guide

Hi, I've been lucid dreaming for a while now and keep seeing all this "dream guide" stuff. I want one, but alas, no DG, for me. Here's what I tried:

Asking the subconscious to make me one
"Creating" one myself behind me/around a corner, etc.
Asking random DC if they are my DG
Repeating a mantra that I will meet my DG before falling asleep

Is there anything else I'm missing? I want one

Aww dream guides are awesome! I hope that you get one soon.
I've found dream guides in a couple of different ways, I think I might have to use a numbered list:

      1. The first way that I ever found a dream guide was by meditating in the dream to make energy rise through my body until I got tingly all over. I remember that I started to feel strong vibrations and a loud tone, and then a wise dream guide appeared and started talking with me.

      2. Another way that I have found dream guides is just by being in the dream and imbuing the DG-ness into DCs (I do this by sending feelings of love and wisdom into them, but I'm sure that there are heaps of different ways to do this). Asking DC's if they are dream guides has never worked very well for me, but I'm sure it would for other people!

      3. My favorite method of getting a dream guide was creating my own while I was awake. I incubated a personality with all of the traits that I wanted in my dream guide. I did this by writing the traits down a few times a day while simultaneously focusing on really feeling the presence of this character that embodied these traits. I think I wrote something like: He is wise, he is loving, he is compassionate, he is powerful.
Then once I felt comfortable that I had sufficiently formed this character in my mind, I summoned him in my dreams, and it worked! Dream guide!

Generally in order to have anything persistent, you need to be able to see it 3 different nights in a week.

This would be different if this is something you are good at. You don't know until you try!

I would recommend finding a way that seems fun and going with it. This will result in an awesome experience no matter what.

I think I will try that. Kind of want a talking cat, but not sure if that might be too creepy. Maybe a catgirl/catboy
