Exploring in LDs can lead to unexpected finds. In one hallway there was this great door, and when I opened it there was a huge, ornate, high-ceiling room, empty save an ancient movie projector on a pedestal. One room was devoted to a rummage sale, with the ladies of the village sitting behind card tables selling junk. Another room had tables covered with fancy deserts and snacks, according to a security guard "for the wedding."
In some LDs, I've felt I had to be very careful exercising my will, or I would awaken. This one seemed as stable as real life... like I could do anything and not wake up. At the same time, I wasn't inclined to do anything magical because the dream was quite interesting in its own right, and the DCs I was with seemed like old friends. But I did fly out a window at the end.
My overall experience is that WILD is trickier than DEILD, but is more likely to produce a very vivid and stable LD experience.
Chained it into another dream, but lost lucidity and ended up in an argument with my sister. Swore at her, and I felt bad about it when I woke up.
