It's definitely the most wild though I've had, but we don't know everything about the human brain.
I'm pretty sure you're thinking of entangled electrons. Due to the way that the brain receives sensory input, entanglement between the electrons of someone's brain and other electrons would not cause the ability to perceive spaces that the person cannot physically see. Scientists don't understand everything about entanglement (and I understand even less), so I could be wrong.

I tend to be really scientific in how I view things, so I think of OBEs as something that happens just within a person's brain. Dreams show that a person doesn't actually need outside stimulation for vivid images to appear, so it's entirely possible for the brain to mimic what it would actually look like if a person's soul (or whatever a person's spiritual counterpart is called by those who believe in it) exited their body and went to different places observing what was there. In other words, an OBE could just be someone's brain tricking them into thinking that they left their body.

Being a scientific person, if someone showed me a piece of solid (non-anecdotal) evidence that supported OBEs, then I would be inclined to reconsider what I believe.
