Question How likely is it that I will have a LD tonight?

I think I am obsessed lol!
      Anyway today:
Listened to an hour of Subliminals made by Ninja
Listened to about an hour and a half of Binaural Beats.
Focused on Lucid Dreaming all day
Did a few RC's and Mantras throughout the day
      Listened to some calm music
Wrote last nights dream down in my DJ (It was a Lucid Dream)
Tonight I will fall asleep listening to meditation music (but I wont actually be meditating)

I know I am probably trying too hard but I am really determined to get a Lucid Dream that I can actually control and fly and do whatever I want in. At the moment my 'lucids' are exactly like normal dreams but the only difference is I know I am dreaming so that means I cant control the dream or focus very well.

1.How likely is it that I will get a LD tonight?
2.Is there any more tips you can give me?

      Thanks very much
PS: Thanks to CasperKid and Ninja9578 for helping me to LD last night

There's no way of knowing. You've certainly done a lot to prepare, so who knows? Your brain decides when it's time, and it happens.

Just know you will have a lucid dream, believe it. Excessively practising techniques can baffle your subconscious and possibly create a reverse effect- from personal experience.

All of these things that you did ( a little overboard IMHO) increase awareness in your dream state. Your chances are improved but you have also set yourself up for disappointment. I only beginning thinking about LD's for a few minutes before bed ( I use sounds and visualization to induce and it doesn't always work for me... but it helps) . I would try a little less hard. Good luck to you!

1.How likely is it that I will get a LD tonight?
This is a question that will have a different answer from one person to the other..
Some people try too hard and get no LDs, they might get two the same night by not doing any reality checks.. Others need extreme amount of commitment and attention towards Lucid Dreaming to make it work..
I guess from what i know, its not about the amount of reality checks you do.. 10 per day should be enough.. Its a great thing your very committed to it,however youre likely to find yourself in dissapointment not to have a lucid after this much of hard work..I think 70% of whether you will have a lucid dream or not depends on your intentions as your falling asleep (including WBTB that apparently increases the chances greatly)..
2.Is there any more tips you can give me?
lol i guess i already put that in the first question ..
tip1. dont be discouraged if you see no results after hard work, the point is not to give up, think of it as your brain is playing games with you so you just gotta beat it..
tip2. have the intention of a LD as your falling asleep, and if possibe, try a WBTB tonight.. (imagine the dream, surrounding + play some calm music to help you relax)
      Well, sweet dreams
      cheers,
      sam
The idea is to remain in a constant state of departure while always arriving..

What you need to do now is spend some time visualizing yourself in a dream and practicing some RCs and stabilization techniques. See yourself as soon as you become lucid doing a few RCs to confirm - when you do this in a dream it raises your awareness significantly. Then remembering to do something to improve the dream's stability raises awareness even further and increases the length of the dream.

It's also a good idea to have a lucid goal or two so that when you've done your RCs and stabilizing you have something to concentrate on - otherwise it's all too easy to just go with the dream and very soon you'll lose lucidity again.

You only need to do one of those things. If I overdo it it destroys my chances of lucid dreaming, even RCing throughout the day is too taxing for my poor little brain Believe me I went through a phase of trying to do everything to increase my chances of lucid dreaming (I think we all have) but it didn't help at all, because I was just carrying out meaningless mental tasks, I wasn't doing what I actually wanted to do, lucid dream. Then sometimes, like last night, you can do nothing at all to induce lucid dreams and have one!

Rather than relying on esoteric methods that correlate with lucidity (guided meditation, subliminals, etc.), look at the most popular techniques, choose your favourite one and give it a trial run of about 2 weeks. When you do this one technique really believe that doing it will help you lucid dream, have confidence in yourself as a lucid dreamer, tell yourself that you lucid dream every time you carry out your technique, you're a born lucid dreamer, we all are. Confidence and intent are the most important corollaries for lucid dreaming.

What Darkmatters said is really good. I use a combination of MILD and visualisation through the day. As he says, make stabilising and carrying out your goal a part of your visualisation so you remember to do it when you become lucid.

      You will do it!
