When I first began to notice I was dreaming while in a dream, I HATED it. I wanted to wake up and couldn't wake up. Pissed me off a lot. What is the desire for this all about? |

Why are you on a lucid dreaming website? |
You know, the fact that you can do anything? Study, fight, take stress out, have your wishes come true during the dream, make another life, etc, etc... yeah that must be it. |
I'm sure you could find your answer almost anywhere on the forum. Exploration, fun, adrenaline, discovering different aspects of our subconscious... And simply being able to consciously observe and participate in a world created entirely by our minds, that behaves differently and produces unnatural, strange and quirky results. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

This isn't something to be hated. you can do anything in a dream. more then you think. This is a gift, something to be excited and happy about possessing, Not hating or ignoring. Your lucky if you can do it without techniques. |

When I first joined the forum I wanted to lucid dream, just so I could do ANYTHING I want, and go into my own little world every night. Then I found I wanted to lucid dream for ALL these reasons. |
Of non-controlled lucids you mean? Otherwise I don't see why any normal person would dislike them <.< |
you can do whatever you want :/ |
Hi there my friend. The answer's very simple: You can do EVERYTHING you want. |
Dreaming in a dream... is not lucid dreaming. Being aware and in a dream is a powerful and life-affirming phenomena. I have never had a bad lucid dream. |

Lucid dreaming isn't a specific thing. It's like music. It's like a reading, it's like a movie. There is always something that interests you. It's not a toy box, it's not a toy world, it's a toy dimension |
After checking your posts, you seem to be a religious person, there are more good sides to LDing as a religious person... enlightment, spiritual exploration, self-exploration, just so many options... but yeah you got the idea. |

Who wouldn't like lucid dreaming u have a world of your own! |
I've found a lot about myself just through my dream journal. The dreams seem to have meanings and tell us things that we may not be aware of while awake. They tell me things in my life that I may have not yet confronted. Deep things. |
I practice lucid dreaming because it gives me total liberation from the laws of physics and anything related to that. I can fly around, blow stuff up, and just do anything I want to do. One of the most awesome things about it is that I can do it from the comfort of my own bed and it's completely free! It's like having the best video game ever without dealing with annoying little kids and having no lag and no limitations! |
