When the dream to lucid dream becomes real- the adventure begin

      Hi everyone,
I am posting this stuff to tell you that, my dream to have a lucid dream has become real last night!

Actually, I practiced lucid dream 2 years ago. On the first week I practiced lucid dream using only dream journal and reality checks, I had one in my afternoon nap. However, my lucidity level was very low at that time. I did'nt feel excited at all. At that time, I was very busy with my work, so I forgot about practicing lucid dream for a while, so long time.

Till recently, I've started to continue my Lucid adventure just 3 weeks ago.
I had to start again, from nothing. I've read a lot about lucid in Stephen LaBerge books, in some programs on internet, in this forum... I tried Lucidolgy 102 for about 2 weeks, but it doesn't work for me. I feel quite disappointed.

I returned to classic methods of dr. LarBerge.
Although I think I had my excellent dream recall due to my training 2 year ago, I actually remember nothing after my first night with new dream journal! Howerver, I just thought, if 2 year ago I could do it, now I can do it!
And you know, after a few days, my dream recall was much better. And after I recorded a dozen of dreams, I had one lucid dream at last!
In my dream last night, I was using dreamsign and a simple reality check to know that I was dreaming. I was very excited, my lucidity was much better than the time 2 years ago. But I felt it was not enough. I want to have more lucid dreams and wish I could control my dream better, my dreamworld would become more real. I'm working with it.
My adventure just began! I think if you believe lucid dream is possible, then it is possible for you! just simple as that!
plz share your comments to me on this post, I want to have more friends and want to know what your feeling is!

      Hello !
It's good to know and that you had success, better yet, you are motivated.
Continue with lucid dreaming, you saw it yourself how it is. Keep with the dream journal, it's always fun writing your dreams

I'm no expert, but I think the more you TRY to do lucid dreams using techniques and education, the less likely you will have one. Keep it simple, and don't treat it like its a cookie recipe. If you want to know how I do it, I simply wake up in the middle of the night accidentally, and the moment I am awake, I lay perfectly still and just meditate and quiet my mind, and watch, maybe count some or just repeat whatever it takes to stay conscious while calming down to zero. Then it happens every time.

As far as I know, you are using WILD to have lucid dream. Not many people have your abitlity to induce lucid dream without actually trying to learn Lucid. Count me as an example. I spent 2 weeks learning WILD but have no success. Then when I learn to use DILD, I've made great progress!

I agree with you that we should keep it simple, don't try to follow the method really hard. Lucid is a natural thing we already have. I tried WILD very hard, but had no success. However, when I tried DILD with only a dream journal, a breath reality check and a simple affirmation " next time,I will remember I am dreaming" when I fell asleep , I have had 3 lucid dreams in 3 days recently, not very complicated method. Therefore, I think you are right, we shouldn't consider lucid dream a difficult thing to accomplish. Just follow the basic method and have strong belief that lucid dream is simple, we will have many, definately.
