Thread: Naturespirit's 'Depths of the Subconscious'

I opened my wacom tablet arrived 5 days ago, and I'm obsessed with it. These are my first digital paintings and I hate them, but I'll post them.

Patronus:
This painting is my failed lucid patronus, where I didn't finish it because the dream destabilized and I had to stop to save the world.

Hypnagogia:
1. Bizarre unwearable ring
2. White plant pot

Drawing on the tablet takes some getting used to since you're drawing in one place and the line is coming out somewhere else. (Unless you have one of those new fangled screen tablets.) But I have a Wacomb and it's not like that at all. (Things' ancient, in fact.) My first drawings (as my art thread will attest to) were pretty terrible, but you will get better. These are pretty good for first goes. I like your use of brush strokes.

Thanks for the encouragement! I am using an Intuos Art.
