Achieved vibrations for the first time ever and what I learned
Alright well I have been on a constant journey through the years to try and master WILDing to the point where all my friends I have done this along with have given up throughout the years, I have tried laying still and all that and I lay there for like an hour it seems and absolutely nothing happens.
This morning was pretty different, I got up at about 5 hours and 30 minutes of sleep which is oddly between every R.E.M. period that I know of as they start every 90 minute, perhaps it was my 6 hour one setting in already and I fell asleep earlier than I recall but only stayed up 10 minutes. I had like I've done in the past wanted to do a visual wild type thing but I wanted to try and let the visions do their own thing. I could barely visualize at all I found, it was weird like my thoughts would not manifest themselves in visions at all very well for me, I had experienced this before but decided to ignore it and go on ahead anyways.
I layed down and tried to be very still for this I followed jeff777's principle of not moving at all , I even had an itch but I refused to scratch it and it went away. I started letting odd ideas flow into my head thinking of some myself to encourage the flow, played little songs in my head and soon thoughts would come to mind easier. I would sometimes find a thought interesting and even pursue it. Each time I thought of actual WILDing I drew my attention from it. After what didn't seem like long I heard this strange noise and it became even louder and I still tried to withdraw back to my thoughts. Soon little vibrations spread throughout my entire body which started in my feet I think. Now I was just so awake and felt so awake that I couldn't believe it I could hear cars going past my house and still it went on. My heart rate pretty much spazzed out due to excitement and the vibrations weakened a bit. After awhile I knew I was just so happy I couldn't continue I had to get up. I found that only 8 minutes had past since I had layed down to WILD o.O. Yeah didn't get to sleep till like an hour later.
I'm going to repeat this tomorrow night and see if I get the same results, pretty sure I heard the ringing again later that night but fell asleep and had so many dreams of laying in bed and wilding and stuff that I'm not sure if I achieved it again, think I did acheive a DEILD though. Sorry if this is the wrong forum haven't been here in awhile, just wanted to say (like some others have said) the act of wilding is one in which you should encourage your mind to stay active and not concentrate on your goal or at least try not to. The only difference from a WILD and normal sleep is you do not move which accelerates the SP response, and you know in the back of your head that your trying to have a lucid dream (no need to focus on it, your mind knows what your doing) but make yourself aware of your "passive thoughts" because the only other thing to focus on is the physical world. In this case however I encourage you to get the ball rolling yourself by thinking and visualizing the first thoughts that pop into your head and letting them manifest in your thought process. Normally this would happen later when your conscious dies out and so this accelerates the mind state needed. Together with both states accelerated I believe the body will fall asleep before the conscious even begins to shut off, and for some of us we may need to stay up longer than 10 minutes.
