Can't WILD?
Hello, I'm having trouble trying to WILD.
First of all, I've had LDs (or semi LDs) many times, it mostly happens some times in a month or two, and then I stop having them for several months. Unfortunately I had no idea how to attain more lucidity and most of the times, after I realised that I was dreaming, I'd try to keep the dream for a while, but the more I thought about it, I lost lucidity and ended waking up.
So now I've been trying to WILD, using the CANWILD method. But I had no success yet. When I wake up with the alarm clock, my first mistake is to move, but when I realise it, I had already moved, but I still try it anyway. But it doesn't work. Everytime I lie there without moving a muscle and wait for any signs of my body starting to paralyse. But in most times I just feel a little uncomfortable when I THINK of moving, or a small itch. But nothing happens after that.
This night I woke up and moved again :( but kept trying. I started hearing a buzz, it was not so loud, but I thought it was going to work. I tried the FILD, but again, I waited about 5 minutes and nothing happened. I gave up after that.
I set the alarm to around 1 hour before I normally wake up.
But the main problem is that even feeling some signals from my body, it doesn't work. What could be the problem?

Somebody posted a very good thread that you would find very useful, cant remember where though :/ basically the thing that everyone forgets when WILDing is that the idea is to actually fall asleep, you cant expect yourself just to lie still and eventually enter sleep paralysis.. it would be way too easy that way. Try using relaxation methods while keeping a thin strain of conciousness in order to WILD.
For CAN-WILD i'd suggest experimenting a few nights with what wakes you up too much and what wakes you up too little.. after you find this then start practicing not to move. You can use autosuggestion such as 'When i hear this sound , I will stay completely still and keep my eyes closed(basically associate the sound with CAN-WILD as much as you can). The hard part is not really keeping still in the end.. the hard part is being able to wake yourself up just enough to DEILD but not too much that you cant sleep at all

I think he's talking about the thread I wrote up.
The problem is that you're waiting for these signs. Falling asleep just doesn't work that way.
