Thread: Was this HH?

I have just gotten interested in lucid dreaming (again) And was wondering if what I had experienced was the beginnings of HH/SP. I performed this in the morning after being fully awake in the morning to see if anything would happen (I know you should not do this normally).

(When I say asleep I mean the tingly feeling you get when you sit on your hand or whatever)

I laid down in my bed where I started counting my breaths, "1 I'm dreaming, 2 I'm dreaming" Where after almost 1 minute in my legs started to get tingly I used to think this was the beginnings of SP but now I know it isn't. It's simply them falling asleep now. This eventually spread to my entire body. Then my feet and hands felt numb (10 minutes in or so) and almost like I had a ghost hand moving and I started to see colors moving around in the blackness of my eyes. I kept it up and eventually it felt like my body was rocking back and forth a lot and a bit brighter colors but no identifiable shapes. From here I laid like this for awhile every once an awhile rocking. No further progression from here. No presences or sounds.* I then tried rolling over because some said this would work which of course meant I never went into SP because I could move. But it didn't work and I woke up fully.
Total time: 25 minutes

I'm wondering if this could be the beginnings, I'm going to try tonight again with WBTB but was wondering if these are the things I should be looking for tonight.

*There were the occasional bird/car outside and that may be why I didn't progress further.

Definitely, you were in the first part of a WILD.

Anything wierd: sparks of light, funny noises, sudden crashing sounds... All HH. If there is occasional noise outside, and you really think it will bother you when WILDing, get some comfortable earplugs.
