      Problem with entering SP

Well, I wake up after 6 hours, stay awake for 1 hour and go to bed and lie down still, ignore every urge to move, my body starts feeling heavy after a while then I stay still for some more time, usually around 10-30 minutes and then my vision turns all white and my heart starts racing, causing me to breathe more air at every inhale, I tried staying with it but it would stop, the next day I tried to control the breathing so it doesn't breathe more but it just ended with me breathing more quickly then, what am I supposed to do at this stage? Since when my breathing changes and my heart races it all stops after a few moments.

      Thanks for reading~ ^^

What are you thinking about while you're lying there? What is going on in your mind is much more important than what you're doing with your body. Move or fidget all you want. Your thoughts are what puts you to sleep.

Try using some sort of mental trick or visualization to "take you away." If you lie there focusing on your body, you will start to notice all the little uncomfortable things going on in your body. Even worse, once you start dreaming and hallucinating, you will still be focused on your body lying in bed.

      A few examples:
-Count while visualizing the numbers changing, as if on a digital clock or an odometer.
-Review a recent memory or recent dream memory repeatedly.
-Using all your senses, visualize a dream scene you would like to enter.

Well I usually either talk with myself some random stuff about dreaming, keeping myself awake, not really focusing on anything and sometimes I imagine a dream scene, so yah, guess that's bad? xD

Oh and what do I do with the breathing, let it inhale more?

Try thinking of a scene instead of keeping the heart-race feeling. This will help get your attention away from your waking body and place you in a scene. When that scene turns into a 3d surround experience, it will mean you are dreaming.

Ps ignore the breathing. The focus here is to get yourself away from the real body and into the dream one.

Whenever your heart starts to race, just inhale big a few times holding in at every inhale, and it will make you more relaxed and cause your heart rate to decrease.

Ugh, the same thing just happened to me. But things didn't turn white. Everything turned "ripply" like when you go underwater in Crysis but that to the extreme.

I have the same issue, I nearly hyperventilate unless I forcibly slow down my breathing and ruin the WILD attempt. What should I focus on rather than my breathing?

Focus on a good song, or maybe the mario theme music lol, that is what I do, but I do not experience HI, just a sort of SP feeling.
