Thread: WILD and Dream Recall

Some people claim that you have 100% perfect dream recall when doing a WILD... as in you remember it in just as much clarity as waking life. Does anyone find this to be true? I have had 3 WILDs and have not found this to be true. Perhaps they were not WILDs as I never seem to experience sleep paralysis. I just go from being awake right into a dream.

I'm not sure if it's the recall that's 100% perfect, more like the integration. Since you go straight into the dream from being awake, never losing consciousness, it's like you live it. So you remember it almost as you would a real-life event. But of course if it's really long, or you tack a few DEILDs on the end, your memory of the initial WILD is likely to be eroded a bit. It's like any LD in that respect, once you wake up from it it seems like a million miles away.
