Don't know? It is different for everyone, so there is a chance it will work for you, personally if I open my eyes I can't DEILD properly, but I can move, some others find it difficult if they move though. |

That requires too much motion, and opening your eyes, which is counterproductive. A proper DEILD is nothing more than a shortened WILD that takes place right as you exit a dream. That means, at the moment you wake up, you should act as if you're already a good way into a WILD attempt. I don't know if you've ever WILDed before, but doing what you mentioned in that far into things is a good way to set yourself back to square one. |

There are a great number of mantras you can use. It's often better to create your own, but there are a select few that are a great place to start: |

If you'd like to do the MILD, I recommend you read how LaBerge explains how to do it, with all the exercises and such. I'm not great at prospective/future memory as the MILD requires, but it might work for you. Go to page 37 at this Scribd.com version of the book and you'll find all the stuff you need. |
