      help-dream re entry

Can someone please help me.Every time I do a dream re-entry something happens to my eyes. Its like I can't see properly through them.In one case both eyes are half way open and I can't see the top of things.I also can't turn my head or move in certain directions. In another case one eye is closed and can't be opened this restricts both my field of vision and mobility. Can someone please tell me why this happens and how I can stop it.

I've had this happen to me a lot too. Just stay calm and try to use your senses. I would suggest trying to grab a hold of something close by and really try to feel it. One time I was only able to see out of one of my eyes so I picked up a pencil and while looking at it and feeling it, my full vision came back to me. Also be sure and stabilize the dream more afterwards .

Pretty much just use your senses. Look around your surroundings. What do you see? Is your surroundings bright, dark, colorful? Where are you at? Pick something up. What does it feel like? Is it smooth or rough. Rub your hands together and feel the friction. Same goes for hearing, smelling and taste.

You could also try other techniques like spinning around which really helps you stay in a dream if you feel that you're waking up. Hope this helps .

If you have decent/good control of your lucidity while you're in lucid dreams, you might be able to stabilize it just with your will - request to your subconscious (just say it out loud while lucid) "I want to see clearly" or "Clarity!" and you should see results, if you're calm, confident, collected, and expect it to stabilize the dream to some degree. I've used "I want to see clearly" numerous times to clear up dreams when lucid, and haven't had it not work for me.

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.

In these types of dreams I have absolutely no control over them.I tried that technique before but it didn't work.

Are you putting enough willful expectation into being able to control things? Like, do every you go in thinking you won't be able to have control?
