I don't really know, as I have only gotten to SP twice, but then I have only tried to WILD 15 times. I got to SP at 4AM, and fell asleep around 11PM probably, so 5 hours. I woke up by myself at 4AM, I ALWAYS do. Every single night I wake up around 4, and I never remember any dreams when I wake up. So I checked my watch to see the time, and to make sure I didn't have a false awakening. I layed there for only a minute, and suddenly I felt wierd. I was on my side, so I didn't get the feeling of someone pushing down on my chest. I also was able to breathe easily. Then some pictures of scenes started floating by my mind's eye, and then a scene started to fade in around me. I forgot I was WILDing and entered into a regular non-lucid dream . Also, after 7-8 hours of sleep, your REM cycles are really close together. I had to get up by 8:45 AM this morning, and my alarm woke me up at 8:38. I had another alarm set to go off at 8:45, 7 minutes later. So I turned off my alarm, and then lay down, and I fell asleep instantly. I had a dream which seemed to last at least 20 minutes. A VERY odd one. Then my alarm woke me at at 8:45. So I guess an easy way to achieve lucidity is to set your alarm 20-30 minutes before you have to get up, tell yourself you will realize you are dreaming, and then let yourself fall asleep. I am lazy in the morning, so I can fall back asleep no problem. That is my little story.
Hope it helps!
