Can you counteract trying to WILD with having no sleep?

I haven't slept since yesterday so I was wondering, once I decide to go to sleep and if I try to WILD right away, will me being tired counteract the fact that is usually difficult to have a WILD right away? Is this possible? FYI, I haven't had a WILD yet (I've tried and I've been getting a little farther). Any replies will be appreciated. Thank you!

It sounds like it could work, you never know. The only problem I see is that you might fall asleep, lol, depends on how groggy you actually are.
      Lucid dreams, gotta love em.

I tried doing that; you'll usually be way too tired to do it successfully.

I'd say that the potential is definitely there. It all depends on how well you can hang on to your awareness. Normally, trying to WILD before bed would not work to well. There seems to be a hand full of people who can WILD before bed, but it seems to be a very small group that can. The reason i think that it would work for you is because of REM rebound. When you haven't had much sleep, you a bound for REM rebound. There was a time that i didn't get any sleep for about 36 hours. I tried to WILD and i quickly got to sp, but i lost my awareness. It's definitely worth trying. Just be careful not to lose your awareness during the process.

Lots of stress and my dad having complications after hernia surgery. Made for a sleepless night and most of the next day.

I wonder is there is any way to train yourself to go straight to REM... If I could do that I wouldn't have to wild only on weekends.
