What not to do while WILD'ing?!

Ok, I was attempting to do a WILD here the other day, but I failed. I was laying still for about three quarters of an hour when I gave up. Nothing happened!

I was using music to keep my mind focused, nothing heavy, just calming piano music (Wayne Gratz). Does that prevent me from attaining an SP? It also would help me alot if someone with experience could write down some important stuff that I SHOULDN'T do while atempting a WILD!

I need help at this people! Acctualy doing and completing a WILD would be a great acheivement for me!

      Thanks!

That about sums it up. I can't remember if I saw it in there, but don't use electronics with bright screens. What happens, is that it wakes up your brain way too much and that prevents a WILD from occurring.

Ok! Thank you! I'll keep that in mind!

But I really need to know if I can listen to music or not! Anybody! Please!?

You have to fall asleep to have a successful WILD. If the music keeps you awake all night, you should turn it off. If, on the other hand, you are one of those people who falls into a deep sleep as soon as your head hits the pillow, music might be helpful. It might help hold your attention while you fall asleep. Try it a few times with and without. You should quickly find what works for you.
