      My 3 newbie WILD experiences.

Alright, so I have tried WILDing three times and I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or just need to keep trying (practice makes perfect right?)

The first time I tried WILD it took me 1 hour to feel SP, then I had some crazy and random visions of DBZ, next thing I know I'm creating my own dream, pretty much I knew WILD had worked, and that the next step was me to create my dream, so I imagined myself lying on my bed and then stepped into my dream body, I was scared I was too conscious to try anything so I just stayed there. Then I had a false wakening and eventually woke up.

Second time, I started feeling SP after about an hour, and had a vision of my friend in the city train, she was screaming or something, and I gained full consciousness and couldn't go back to sleep.

Third time, again got to sleep paralysis, this time in about half ah hour. The next thing, I'm not sure if it was a vision or a dream: I was watching a magic act in a really dark place, and the magician and his assistant were going to perform a trick, then something dragged them into a shadow behind them and the whole place was filled with screams of pain/suffer, It was kinda scary and I gained consciousness, but was still in SP, then if I tried to go back into that weird dream/vision, I could start hearing the screams, but couldn't really step into it.

My question is, is it taking me too long to achieve WILD? and also, could I have changed that dream/vision into my own dream after I gained consciousness, kinda like DEILDing?

To get that far after trying to WILD three times is /impressive/. Learning to LD is something that normally takes patience above all else so congratulations.

I'm not the most experienced person but I would say yes, it's taking you too long to get to SP. It normally takes me between five and fifteen minutes and from what I've read of this forum, that is pretty much average.
I'm assuming you're doing WBTB: how long do you sleep for before trying to WILD? How long do you wake up for before beginning to try to WILD and what do you do during that time?
It sounds to me like you're either getting too much sleep before your attempt or you're waking yourself up too much before trying to WILD. Try sleeping for ~5 hours and spending 5-10 minutes awake before you next try to WILD.

Also it sounds like you properly made it into a dream in your third attempt. Keep in mind that you are just dreaming and that you control everything that is happening around you so if you don't like what is happening in your dream, rather than regaining consciousness just change the situation.

      Good luck and have fun
