I've tried many many many times but I can't get it to work. I don't thnik it's possible according to all the tutorials/informations. Anyway maybe someone achieved it!!! Lets see =)
i do wonder what DOES happen if you try before you sleep.
It's entirely possible to WILD before sleep, but it requires you to have mastered relaxation and the rest of the WILD parts. WILD literally is LDs on demand, which includes before sleep, or even anytime during the day, if you have enough experience. Personally, I'm still at the WBTB WILD stage.
WILD at bedtime is a bit of a rookie error.
You'd need to meditiate right through to your first, and very short, REM period.
Not much point to it to be honest.
WILD at first sleep?
Yes.
99% of my WILD's not WBTB.
Before I learned about LD I did it :boogie:
I have actually only WILDed once before sleep. It took me over an hour to get sufficiently relaxed and enter SP. It was a nice vivid dream, but I'm not sure it was worth the trouble.
Yes I do it sometimes.
I'm able to WILD before sleep only when I'm really tired; this makes an easier transition to SP, which I can then move to a Lucid Dream.
The downside for me is that these dreams aren't that clear, and also very short due to it being the first REM period.
And by really tired, I mean like 2-3 AM. Its hard for me to WILD when its early in the night because the relaxation takes time. In total I think that it took me about 10 minutes to fully relax onto SP, and then 3 minutes to transition into an LD.
