Law abiding citizen by day, breaking the laws of reality by night.
"How can you be aware that you're dreaming, if you're never aware that you're awake?"
Both vary by person. You have to find what works best for you. |

Yeah, it varies from person to person, so you'll actually have to put forth some effort to figure that one out for yourself. I know, it's a terrible thing. |

Typically, you should try to do it later on at night. Every 90 minutes or so, you enter into the REM state. The first one lasts for about 10 mins, but they get longer each time. You should try it with about 6 or so hours of sleep. This will help you with something known as "REM Rebound", which will make your WILD be alot shorter, and make you go into the Dream State much quicker. It will also make your dreams last longer so that you can further enjoy a potential Lucid Dream. |

That's not what REM rebound is at all. . . |

Well, REM Rebound, in the context I've always read it as, is when your body is apt to jump back into REM sleep, skipping all the other stages, which occurs more frequently at night. |

Yeah, waking up after several sleep cycles puts you closer to REM sleep. Interrupting a REM cycle puts you even closer. |
