Wild Is Not Working For Me.

      Why isnt it working!!
I've been trying aprox 5 times a week and i cant get lucid i have been trying this method for about 2 months.
i get 2hrs into it and get out of it cause nothings happening.
      i fall asleep during it.
this is what im doing while being WILD.
I image my self rolling out of bed or levitating.
i think to my self i am dreaming i am dreaming.
i focus on the flashing colour images and i dont fade off into a dream its juts those images i see for minutes-hours.
i get paralyzed quickly and i feel the pressure and paralysis.
Why cant i get into lucid state!
Please i need help anyone have tips?!?!

Are you relaxed while you're doing this? If you have an active mind you aren't going to go anywhere, since your body knows that your mind is still awake. The whole point is to trick your body into entering a dream state while your mind is secretly awake, but to do that you have to stay still, relax and don't think too hard. You should try to notice the HI but don't concentrate too much on them. Also, are you attempting this after 4-6 hours of sleep or at the start of your sleep? It really helps to wake up during your REM period. It's normal to feel the paralysis early on; I feel it after about 10 minutes of staying still. I hope this helps!

Dont expect to be able to..WILD is something pretty hard to do IMO. Some people get it, others dont. If your lucky, youll be one of the people who get it. If not, use another method. I have never WILDed myself. I havent really tried, but if you cant get it, dont worry about it. I still have multiple lucids almost every night, never WILDed. I probably get more than an experienced WILDer does.

I agree. WBTB is the only way i have even gotten to the HI. I've never actually been able to have a lucid dream. However, I'm trying again tonight.

Yeah, WILD is a very tough technique. I haven't even step foot on those grounds yet.

By the way, I love your profile. "I'm Analise, but you can call me anal" LMAO. Love it.

One other thing you could try. If you plan to do the early morning wakeup, which is a good stategy, make sure there is (some) light in the room while you are trying for the LD. Not too much, maybe like nitelite bright, or a lamp with it's dimmer switch turned down. I've found that, for some reason, illumination helps.

I tried again last night, but i didnt stay up long enough for the WBTB to work, so i fell back asleep almost immdediatly. Maybe I'll try stretching or jump roping or something after i wake up to be more awake.

what i find is a great relaxation technique is to stretch the different muscle areas, and while i do that i breath very deeply/slowley. i close my eyes, and think to myself (very slowly "okay........time to relax.........shut down the mind..............calmness" etc. then get into bed.

it takes me a very long time to get to sleep, usualy 45 mins. but when i do the above, it takes me just a couple of minuets.
and, doing this makes me sleep very well, so well infact that i was to relaxed to get up for A wbtb last night.

as for not going into the dream, try this. imagine waking up in your bed, going downstairs. go out the front door, but instead of your front yard, imagine anything else, just spontainiously imagine another landscape.

it could be a battlefield, another plannet, anything. just make sure its spontanious.

I can confirm the same. My LD's usually started like OOBE's - I was creeping out from my bed. When my physical curtains were on my dream was starting almost in pitch dark. When I allowed some light in in next attempts it was clearly reflected in brighter vision. I know, dream vision quality is down to you but I am not at that level yet...
