After reviewing a bit of which inducing method suited my lifestyle, WILD was the one that fit me the best. It's pretty much what I've been subjecting myself to for months.

My question is, what is preventing me from executing this form of dreaming? I'm having a hard time keeping my mind focused on one subject and I tend to either think about something else while trying to get into the state of REM or snap back into complete consciousness once again. I also end up getting headaches from failed attempts on trying to succeed.

Is this Scenario too Much for a Base Start?

Last night I attempted to get into a state where I would have a dream about a character named Shadow the Hedgehog. I started with a base idea to begin my journey once I have fallen into REM. It took place in a Mario Party 10 area called Mushroom Park. I was sitting next to Shadow, in shiny gold vehicle. I thought about the textures of the car. Gliding my hand along the side, rocking it, listening to the clattering and feeling the vibrations of it. I also looked up into the sky and watched clouds whilst feeling the atmosphere around me, noticing Shadow, counting his breaths and so on.

Though of course before I'm right about to get into the final stage of NREM, my mind looses focus on the subject as I regain all consciousness.

Stress?

I tend to become very stressful of multiple situations which could be the main factor as to why I cannot calm myself down enough to focus on the desired dream. I end up worrying over past events in my life which have been a distraction for me when trying to dream.
