I know that 2 or 3 hours is the ideal time.
But is it impossible to successfully WILD during a nap 10 hours after waking up?
Is it just way harder or totally impossible?

Nap WILDs are difficult to achieve - I wouldn't say impossible, but I would say more difficult. Take it form someone who's been trying for a while now.
It can be done, but it takes time to do it.
10 hrs after waking up is getting close to your normal bed time. You may be successful at a WILD, but if your body thinks you are just having an early bed time, it may give you regular sleep cycles, and not just REM.
Nap is a prime time for all lucids, WILDs, DILDs and DEILDs.
The sooner after you wake up in the morning, the better chance you have. Morning naps are great, noon or shortly after noon are still great, afternoon may still be ok, but late afternoon may or may not work. It kinda is individual, and even for the same person, it may work differently.
Good luck.
