Post I have my own way of lucid dream

It started when I was in grade school particularly grade 2 or 3, I started having incubus(?) or nightmare, I really don't know what you call that but it is when I sleep and I can't move but im conscious, its just that I can't move then im starting to panic coz even though Im awake but sleeping (oh its starting to get confusing) my dreams are starting to get bad and as a kid i dont know what to do. This thing keeps on happening again and again until now. I am already 18 y.o and just recently I discovered something to fight that back.. and its through lucid. 11 years of experiencing incubus(?) or nightmare has me knowing when it will attack so when it happens I just replace the bad dreams with good once since I can't control my body but hey there is still my brain so there you put the lucid dream. Now that I am taking advantage of my dream disorder, the probability of having nightmares has becoming less and less so its not so frequent when I lucid..

      Hey,
sounds like a found a really good solution then However I would like to suggest something: Of course you can just sort of 'remove' those nightmares by attaining lucidity, but you could also confront yourself with your fears and try to find out the reasons for those repetitive nightmares. That might be a bit harder than just removing those nightmares, but you might find out great things

Oh hey thanks for that. Actually I haven't tried to dream some of my common fears, just those people chasing me and other things chasing me, they said its just problems that I dont want to face. And it is not actually nightmare, i researched it and it is said incubus (Incubus is a demon in male form who, according to a number of mythological and legendary traditions, lies upon sleepers, especially women, in order to have sexual intercourse with them.wikipedia) but based on scientific research it is just your pancreas aching. When i experienced incubus then i became hysterical thats when the nightmares come and lucid override.

      You're welcome.
Oh I didn't know that. Probably because I don't have many nightmares at all which is why I never read anything about them. What do you mean by "lucid override"? I don't quite get it.

Hi skies. How old would you be at "grade 2 or 3"?
My LDing record, if you want to hear about it, is about 4 WILDs, 1 DEILD, and the rest DILDs.

I used to have nightmares that reoccurred from time to time, as a child.

Great to hear that you have a solution for them skiesAffinity.
