I have been Lucid Dreaming using MILD for over a year now, and achieve a DILD at least once a week now. So, about a weeks ago, I decided to research as much about WILD as I can, and I think now I'm ready to go for it. I'll wake myself up about 6 hours after I go to sleep and start from there. I'm a little concerned about "Sleep Paralysis" but I will try to forget about it. |

Main thing is, that you are going to have to fall asleep. So don't get too excited, or it will be hard to do. As you falling asleep, some kind of an anchor will help your mind stay aware, as your body falls asleep. Any short phrase will do the trick. I find counting to be too demanding, it takes up too much of my attention. But maybe that's what will work for you. You just have to try. Good luck and don't be afraid to ask anything. Take inventory of how many times your waking up and rolling to sleep. Instead of just rolling over with the intention to fall back to sleep in the quickest amount of time, roll over with the intent to walk into a dream lucid or with the intent to remember your still in your bed. You'll still be inbeween the sleep waking state so it should be alot easier to Wild from that position. As supposed to wilding from a fully wakeful state. Peace :-) |

Also, do NOT focus on any physical things/sensations you encounter. Focus on visualization or relaxation because the more your focus on the physicals, the more it will ground you to the physical world and prevent you from transitioning into the dream. Good luck! |
