WILDing is a complex process. Please describe what you do and when do you WILD, before bed or after some sleep? Did you read the link from the other thread? WILD(sageous) |

Last night I tried to wild ,after my body got completely relaxed, felt floating sensation for 10 seconds then found myself back on my bed. While floating heart beat rises and I start taking long breaths .What I am doing wrong? |

I do wild after 5 hrs of sleep and wake up by a custom alarm clock. At first I don`t move at all and try to wild ,when its unsuccessful I wbtb for 30 sec and then wild. |

WILD is pretty difficult. Most people say to wait till your better at LDing to WILD, but I would say to try and DILD as much as you are trying to WILD. That way you will get lucid even if one isn't working or if one stops working for a while. |
You are not doing anything wrong. You will WILD successfully tomorrow and so will I, and then I will cite this post as evidence that I am precognitive. |
For how long your WILD attempts lasts? |
youre not trying to fall asleep. thats what you are doing wrong |
commonly 20 mnts sometimes lasting upto an hour |

I agree with xpin2winx, you can't see dreams without falling asleep, and you can't be lucid without dream to be lucid in! |
That is what WILDing is. There are two types of LDs. WILD and DILD. One you attain consciousness during the dream (DILD). The other you keep consciousness with you while you fall asleep (WILD). In order to WILD you have to find out what keeps you conscious enough that you can still fall asleep during it. |
I had my second WILD this night, but it wasn't realy a wbtb like yours i tried it while first falling asleep. I have to tell you that i did strugle to fall asleep for about 30-40 min but eventually i felt goosebumps all over my body and it felt like spinning/falling into my room where the dream started. I've done a Successful wild 10 days ago and now. I guess you need to keep trying to learn it. IMO you shouldn't be worrying about keeping awareness so much because you will never fall asleep. Keep trying |
so it takes as long till 40 mnts of awareness. How do you keep yourself aware for such a long time, whats your anchor. What should i do when my heartbeat rises, should I take long breaths? |
It usually takes less than that for me, unless i am too awake or something and for anchor i use binaural beats and small mantra. As for when heartbeat rises just be calm and keep your cool, not sure about breathing but i heard breathing same way as you breath during sleep helps. |
binaural beats at 5 am in night, with headphones? |
Binaural beats are really unnecessary, i WILDed a couple of times at one point without them just fine using only mantra, though they do help me most with relaxation phase, but if you want to use them, yes, you have to use headphones and don't forget to turn off all additional sound modifying options on them if you have any. |
I'm working on getting my "bootup time" lower (this is because I cant find the damn correct position, always something scratches haha). As for heartbeat, happened to me twice, but only once i got to LD just by letting it pass by. The other two times I didn't even notice.. |
"You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one"(especially here)
Could by that you are becoming more aware of internal body noises making your heartbeat louder. You might also feel your heart in a much more vivid way. Your body will take care of itself so if you can let it go and ride through that stage you may getter farther along. |
