      Muscle Jerking???

Hey guys, I’ve been trying to lucid dream for a while now and what I notice is that every time I keep my body still for sleep paralysis, after a while there’s this tension that builds on my leg, like a growing urge to move it, although I do all I can to resist, it always eventually spazzes out by itself and it is very annoying as it is very uncomfortable and makes it extremely difficult to stay still. So if any of you guys knows why it happens or any solutions I will be very grateful. Thanks
oh i always lay on my back if that helps?

You don't heve to keep still and you definitelly don't need to try to induce or wait for SP.

      SP explained
      WILD (sageous)

There have been some threads here about muscles jerking. It's hard to say what it is. If you feel the urge, google restless leg syndrom and see if it resembles what you feel. There is another thing - hypnic jerk - but you don't feel that coming. Do you feel any discomfort like this when going to sleep normally? Or is it just nowk, because you uncomfortable from staying still for long time?

If you feel you need to move, do it slowly, don't pay attention to it and continue with your attmept.

Are you trying this immediately as you go to bed? Most techniques are much, MUCH easier to use after a few (4-6 hours) of sleep.

You probably get the urge to move because you know you can not move. But if you don't get it when you go to sleep normally, that's because then you don't care if you move, scratch or swallow, right. You know, you will fall asleep even if you move. You have to do it same way when you WILD.

And yes, as the comment above, doing this before sleep if near impossible and frustrating.

I did get close on two occasions, once i got to the vibration stage but didnt go deep enough so it disappeared, had to start again. The second i got pass the vibration stage and was in a dream but i lost lucidity, for some reason i started scrolling through a list of creepy noise on my iphone and playing them.
