WILD help?
Still trying to obtain SP, I've been thinking for awhlie that I've been obtaining SP, but it was a false SP feeling, I can't seem to get into SP unless I do a DEILD. How long should it take to get into SP, I do it during the day during a nap, and what is the best way?

I don't understand why you would want to go through the firewall? As it is your computer, it's easier to just go online. When you go online, the firewall is automatically activated for the safety of your experience.
In that analogy, Lucid Dreaming is being online, while SP is the firewall.

Ah Tucane, I had a feeling you would post on here.
So then there's not really an easy way past this "firewall" so to speak?
I usually end up either falling asleep or I never make it to the firewall, and my body just gets so relaxed the muscles kind of freeze, like a very light paralysis, but no HH.

I am practicing this every night WHILE going to bed, I know it might sound weird and you have probably heard how bad it is to do it without WBTB. But I don't actually expect myself to succeed a WILD while going to bed, even though I have done it twice, although because of sleep deprivation. But I actually do it because I have noticed that my dreams get more vivid and am more aware of them if I do a WILD and focus on my thoughts while going to bed. My solution for not falling asleep was to sleep in a sitting position with pillow behind my back and something to support the head and neck, that way I never fall asleep unconsciously the only obstacle is endurance =) I feel the regular sleep paralysis sensations every evening, which is why I don't believe that sleep paralysis is the goal you should go for, because what made me succeed in the successful attempts was my ability to focus on my thoughts and daydream not waiting. So that is what I am doing while WILDing.
So an "easy way" get past the firewall is to find away to meditate and by meditate I mean occupy your mind by visualization or daydreaming, anything you like.
it's funny because I usually feel my head almost burning up, and that's my obstacle so it is literally like a wall (a firewall...).
Just last night I felt a typical sleep paralysis sensation (petrifying legs) without it being sleep paralysis. So don't aim for physical sensations, aim for non-physical sensations =)
Good luck I hope this help. And if you have anymore questions feel free to ask ;)
Oh btw if you are new, DEILD is definitely the short cut. And when you know YOUR own sensations and typical characteristics that your body feels while going to sleep, then you can start with the more advanced stuff. It's still too advanced for me and I have practiced WILD for 4 years.... So DEILD is a good recommendation. Because when you DEILD you literally wake up at the end of the whole process and start dreaming immediately.

*For me* when I WILD without sleep before it, it can take 1-2 hours which is ridiculous. When WBTB which has sleep before it maybe it takes 30 mins. I don't know why it takes much more time for me with this thing. (I'm 16 years)
Anyway, I do not think about SP steps or count from 1 to 1000 and these stuff, just thinking about some old situations which I messed up and wish to get back in time  However, till I feel my mind starts losing conscious, I must not get excited so I relax every muscle suddenly. From here I start seeing my self in 3rd person, the rest you might not want to read it because you need full confidence and willing now.:cheeky:
