Going to attempt WILD... am I ready?
Initially I wasn't going to attempt WILD because I was a bit afraid (such a wimp) but after reading tutorials, and wanting another LD so bad I'm going to attempt it!
Last night I 'practiced' by relaxing, and counting and visualising like the tutorials I have read sai to do. I did feel myself going into a weird trance where I couldn't feel my body, but then I let myself sleep.
I'm going to attempt it for real this time, here is what I have figured I should do but, please, if I have got it wrong let me know!!!
1. Go to sleep, set my alarm to wake me after 5 hours.
2. Upon waking, go to the bathroom, switch on the light and write a text on my phone to 'wake up' the logic centers of my brain. Stay awake for 5 minutes at least.
3. Go back to bed, lay comfortable and relax.
4. Breathe steady, let all thoughts go and ignore my body... etc Start counting and picture the numbers flashing up in my mind. Repeat 'I am dreaming.' in between numbers
5. As I start to dream, remain calm and enjoy it. Visualise my dreams.
6. Hopefully, make the transition into a lucid dream.
I'm pretty confident I can do this, and I'm not going to be disappointed if I don't so there isn't too much pressure.
The only thought I have is that I may 'forget' what I am supposed to be doing, and not remember the next step!
