Hi.

The last two mornings I have tried the WILD technique, mainly to relax, mainly to learn or eventually master.

Although I wasn't successful in inducing a lucid dream from the actual attempt itself, I did not class it as a 'fail' because I had used my WILD attempts after a natural morning WBTB simply as a relaxation exercise, then I simply went to bed, fell asleep naturally (because I was so relaxed) and got my lucid dream via DILD anyhow.

Usually I attempt WILD lying on my BACK. The reason being if I sleep on my side (like with my DILD) then I fall asleep really easy.

When I do this I have noticed when going near the so-called 'transition' stage (or perhaps past it?) that I notice that I sometimes make a snoring noise when breathing which distracts me into full waking consciousness. I don't think I have a snoring issue or problem generally, probably because I don't usually sleep on my back.

I expect that I will have to try to ignore it, but it is a bit distracting. Note that I don't have a breathing or sleeping problem. Nor do I take medication or alcohol that might cause it.

Do I just accept it, move on and try to ignore it?

Any thoughts? Anyone else get this?

Regards.
