      Mind=blown...

      Ok, I know threads like this ("was it SP?!?") have been posted hundred times already, but I really need answers!

      So, Im dreaming briefly in the morning, and I dream that I'm in a red, little floating... Thing... Suddenly, I wake up, but I lay still, and I manage to build up a dream scene again. But, just as I'm about to enter a new dream scene (still feeling my body in bed) an EXTREMELY storing wind blows my hair straight backwards, and suddenly the gravity shifts, and I'm falling down. My surrounding are completely gray. Just. Gray. No textures, no shadow. Just one gray shade color.
      Anyway, after falling down a bit, I'm again in bed, but still with the roaring sound of the wind in my ears. I try to move, but it is almost like the air around me has become compact. Still, I manage to move my hand a bit. Then, starting on my head and going down to my toes, the compact air disappears, and everything is normal again....

      Now my question is: What WAS that?! It wasn't scary or anything. I first thought that it was SP, but I COULD move my hand... And if this happens again, what should I do to turn it into a lucid?

      That sure sounds like SP. SP had probably already started to break when you moved your hand. When SP lets go it doesn't happen instantly. It happens gradually. So it is possible to move around a bit while still feeling other effects of SP once it has begun to break.

      The next time it happens all you have to do to enter a lucid is avoid breaking SP. Just relax and submit completely to it. Don't think too hard or fast. If you feel yourself falling try and imagine yourself rotating in different ways as you're falling. It takes a little practice to know when you can begin attempting to move and manipulate things without breaking SP in the process. For me it takes 10 to 15 seconds before I feel my awareness has shifted fully to my dream body and I don't have to worry about accidentally moving my real one.

      Did you perform a reality check when things went back to normal? WILD's can often begin without you realizing it. You think the attempt failed but are actually dreaming about laying in bed after a failed attempt.
