Hello Guys i slept at 12:01-30 am and woke up at 4:30, but i don't feel THAT tired :shock::shock:, and i would like to know if i need more sleep and if i don't and if i'm on the right path what do i do for the next 60 minutes to keep my brain active and good for the WILD Attempt, and what do i do in the last 30 minutes.
Edit i tried WILDing but after i closed my eyes nothing happened just nothing even for after 10-20 absolutely nothing happened. Now i just woke up again and its 11am and i feel very refreshed, can i do a WILD in the afternoon even though i'm not really tired.

What were you doing during your WILD attempt? Did you have a specific technique you were following?
I Tried the WBTB my first time but failed now i did it 3 more times but this time i didn't move and a muscle and went directly back to sleep before i could try to keep my mind awake do i need less sleep like 4 hours and 30 minutes.Quote:

The more sleep you get before your WBTB the better your chances. But of course if you get too much sleep before your WBTB you'll have a hard time returning to sleep. You have to do your own experimenting to find out the ideal length of time to stay awake before returning to sleep. If you fall asleep too quickly then stay up a little longer.
Since you're just starting out, understand that performing a WILD is entirely a mental process. The first thing you need to do is pay attention to how your own mind normally works while awake. Stay aware of your thought patterns and the different mindsets that you carry during the day. Then as you are trying to sleep pay attention to the changes in your thought patterns and mindset as you get more tired. With practice you'll be able to know how close you are to falling asleep by observing the changes in your mindset. You'll be able to watch yourself move closer and closer to sleep until you finally observe yourself actually falling asleep. When you've done this you've just performed a WILD.
