      Before I begin my Night

Okay, before I begin, I want to get some things straight.

During a WILD I need to:

-Relax, and let my body fall asleep naturally
-Focus on my thoughts, not to much, but acknowledge them; as to not fall asleep completely
-Watch passively as the lights and images come

      I have questions also:

-I tend to move my feet repetitively. I have always done this when going to sleep...can I do it to relax?
-Can I imagine? I like, when beginning to sleep, to imagine scenes, or scenarios. Would this be okay?

      Thanks

Yes, it looks alright from here. Now, about the questions...

I'm not exactly sure about the feet thing, but if you don't consciously do it when you're falling asleep, you ought to be fine.

Definitely imagine. Imagining scenes and specific details will often help you enter your dream.

Good luck, and do well tonight!

Alright...I shall begin. Of course, I will probably do a short WBTB then try Jeff777's Freefall technique. Lets hope I have my first WILD.

      I am tired of DILDs...

Well, after a night of sleep, I can report, that I did not achieve a WILD. However, I made encouraging progress. For the first time I was able to relax enough to fall asleep; however, I was also too tired to remain aware. It produced a very vivid dream, which I can remember in detail. I think I am getting there!
