I would also like to know the answer to both of those questions. I always scratch and it just seems like it starts the whole process back over, but even when I dont scratch, Im thinking about scratching...errr |

The key is to be comfortable, if a scratch is agitating you, or something else, it is best to scratch it; to my knowledge. Better have a quick disruption then a long irritating one that just prolongs the process. |

Well you're trying to fall asleep so make yourself comfortable. This part might piss you off but you have to experiment with your own self to see how long you should stay up. Example , day 1 - 10 mins, fall asleep | day 2 - 20 mins, can't fall asleep | day 3 - 15 mins, WILD. |

You should not move during the attempt to WILD. But if you have an itch or need to swallow, try to hold up to see if the urge goes away. If it doesn't, do it, but slowly, as if you didn't even notice you doing it. It will not ruin you attempt, maybe just sets you back a minute or two. It's better to get rid of the itch, than be bothered by it for a long time. |
